Knee Popping

You bend down and hear it. You stand up and hear it. You think to yourself “Is that my knee popping?”

Is it dangerous? Is it indicating a problem you should have a doctor look at?

If you experience pain while climbing steps, it could be an early sign of knee osteoarthritis. Although this tends to appear in people over 40, if you are very active or had a serious knee injury when you were younger, you could show signs of it in at a much younger age.
