Why do Catalyst Bars cost more than some other “healthy” brands?

We are so glad you asked! There are several reasons our bars may cost more than some other so-called “healthy” brands.

Ingredient integrity – each ingredient we use is carefully sourced based on our strict standards for taste, sustainability, and freshness. 

Small batch, handcrafted quality – we have small production runs and use the freshest ingredients available. Each batch is taste-tested to ensure it meets our taste and quality standards. The bars are then wrapped and sent to our distribution center within days where they are kept in temperature-controlled storage until they are sent to you.

These features, along with our great nutrition and macronutrient balance, make ours a truly healthy product that you and your family can be excited to include in your daily diets.

What does “High Protein” mean? How can you claim this to be true?

For a food to be “high” in protein, it must contain 20% or more of the recommended daily value (DV) per serving size. The DV for protein is 50 grams, so each serving size must contain more than 10 grams of protein to have the “High in Protein” nutrient content claim.

Catalyst Bars have 20 grams of protein per bar which is twice the requirement. And, our protein is a high-quality protein blend, unlike many lower-priced bars on the market.

Where can I sign up for a monthly subscription?

When placing your order, you can choose a one-time purchase or a subscription. Subscriptions take away the hassle of re-ordering every month and ensure that you always have a high-quality protein bar available to you.

Are Catalyst Bars really so low in sugar?

Yes! One of our priorities was to develop great-tasting bars with no more than 5 grams of sugar and 0 grams of sugar alcohol. Our team of chefs and nutrition scientists worked through many trials to develop this recipe. The end result is a bar with high protein and high fiber, low sugar, no sugar alcohols, and of course, a delicious taste!

What is “High Fiber”? 

The Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for dietary fiber is 25 grams per day for a 2,000 calorie diet and 30 grams per day for a 2500 calorie diet. According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, this translates to women taking in at least 25 grams a day, and men 38 grams a day.

Catalyst Bars have 12 grams each, nearly half of the RDA.

How many net carbs are in a Catalyst Bar?

Catalyst Bars are low in net carbs, with just 16 grams.

Net carb calculation:
28 grams Total Carbs – 12 grams Fiber = 16 grams Net Carbs

Are Catalyst Bars GMO-free?

Yes. We are pleased to share that all of our ingredients are non-GMO.

Are Catalyst Bars vegan?

I am allergic to nuts. Is it safe to enjoy Catalyst Bars?

No. If you have a peanut allergy or tree nut allergy, PLEASE DO NOT TRY CATALYST BARS. We do our best to make it clear on our website and packaging that these bars contain peanuts and/or tree nuts.

How should I store my Catalyst Bars?

Catalyst bars are shelf-stable and do not need refrigeration. Keep them in your kitchen cabinets or pantry, and stow a few in your desk, work bag, purse, gym bag, and rucksack so you always have a delicious and nutritious option nearby.

What do best by dates mean?

A “best by date” is on each box and individual bar. Made with high quality ingredients, Catalyst bars have a best dy date of 10 months after their production date. These dates are not expiration dates, but they are meant to communicate when our products are at their best. From a food safety perspective, our foods are safe to eat beyond their best by dates. Please note that storing your bars in the refrigerator for an extended period of time will make them dry.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Our bars are typically shipped to you on the next business day. We offer real-time shipping rates for services including USPS, UPS Mail Innovations, and FedEx Home Delivery. These options include estimated shipping and arrival dates, but please note that delivery dates are not guaranteed as they are subject to change by the carrier. We don’t add any handling fees, so what you pay for shipping is exactly what it costs.

Can I apply a discount code after my order is placed?

After an order is placed, you can not modify it or the payment option. We also encourage you to double-check the shipping address before completing your order.

My order was delayed, lost, or damaged. What should I do?

Please contact the carrier directly for assistance, using the tracking number provided in your confirmation email. Once a package leaves our facility for shipment processing, your order is out of our hands and its delivery is out of our control.
