Peanut Butter Hummus

  • 15 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 3/4 teaspoon cumin, optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • water
  • dash of paprika
  • one black olive, optional


Peanut butter hummus is a twist on a popular dip. Blend all ingredients except paprika and black olive, adding enough water until your desired consistency is reached. Spread onto a plate and drizzle with a little more olive oil. Sprinkle paprika on the top, and add an olive as a garnish.
