TRX / Rip Trainer

What Is TRX / Rip Trainer?

This class focuses on using the TRX Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer instead of traditional gym equipment. The TRX Suspension Trainer leverages gravity and your bodyweight to challenge people of all fitness levels. By simply adjusting your body position, you can add or decrease resistance. The Rip Trainer employs a resistance cord system to offer you a new challenge.

The TRX can provide a fast, effective total-body workout or focus on only upper or lower body movements and:

  • Helps build a rock-solid core
  • Increases muscular endurance
  • Benefits people of all fitness levels

The Rip Trainer employs a resistance cord system to provide a unique mix of:

  • Rotation and mobility
  • Core stability
  • Metabolic conditioning
  • Power and strength
  • Balance and coordination
  • Benefits people of all fitness levels

What Should I Expect?

A warm up, a cool down, and in between – you will be led through a combination of exercises using the TRX and Rip Trainer to challenge your body in new and exciting ways.

What Do I Need To Know Ahead Of Time?

Wear appropriate and comfortable clothes and shoes. Cross-trainers are suggested for this class. Bring water, a towel if you need one (you know if you do), and a yoga mat. If you don’t have a mat, you can buy one from me and have it waiting for you. Contact me now so it can be set aside.

When Are Classes Held?

Classes are held periodically throughout the year. Contact me for the next class schedule.

TRX class is different and challenging. I like it because it's really fun and you do not realize how hard you are working. It is a great workout!

I loved my first TRX class! It was a great work out for the entire body including the brain! Found that I really needed to focus and concentrate in order to keep my core tight! No room for sloppy form! Cannot wait to do it again! Yay!

The TRX class that Sharon held was AMAZING!!!  Even though I hurt like heck the next day, I felt very challenged with all the exercises we did!!  I especially liked doing the atomic/pike push ups, the mountain climbers, the tricep extensions, and the plank!  I think it is a perfect addition to my workout routine.  Would love to do a class at least once a month!
