Hawaii Chair

The manufacturer of the Hawaii Chair claims it is an “easy-to-use waistline slimming and fat burning aerobic workout exercise machine”.

Instead of spending $300 on this product, go for a walk or a run.

If you do want a good core workout, watch this video of Ellen DeGeneres demonstrating the chair on her talk show. I am sure I received a better ab workout from laughing at this video than I would have if I were to buy this chair.

Find Your Motivation - Part II

Motivation is different for each of us and finding the phrase or quote that resonates with you is really a personal choice.  To help you find yours, I've shamelessly stole 55 from many different sources.  Here are numbers 11-20.

11. Keep asking yourself “Why do I want what I want?” Remind yourself of the reasons why you are chasing your goals.
12. Plan everything thoroughly. Plan every day.  Success isn’t an accident.
13. Set deadlines for everything.
14. Write out tomorrow’s plan the night before and review it throughout the course of the day.
15. If you want to be more successful – apply the 80/20 Principle.  And....

Chocolate!!!

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I guess I have chocolate on my mind.

This isn't going to be a blog on why dark chocolate is better for you than milk chocolate (which is true), or why white chocolate isn't really chocolate at all (again, true).  Have you heard of a company called Rompicollo?  Evidently they want to make sure you know exactly how many calories you are splurging on when you eat chocolate.  The photo below is from TrendHunter.

The chocolate bar is easily broken into different-sized pieces, and if you look close....
