T Thompson - AWESOMEHard work..... Determination..... Focus..... Longevity..... Practice, practice, practice.....
What do these have in common? Just ask Tina Thompson. She is now the leading scorer in the WNBA with 6273 points and the season isn't over yet. After a star-studded college career at USC, she entered the WNBA in its infancy, in 1997. Since then she has won 4 WNBA titles, voted to play in 7 All-Star games, and won 2 Olympic gold medals. She ranks in the top 15 in the league in points per game, free-throw percentage, minutes per game, total minutes played, field goals made, three-point goals attempted and made, points, and double-doubles. Impressive, huh?
Support the WNBA! Tina is just one of the many talented athletes who are playing for the love of the game.

Well, a study was just released that says "...cancer cells can readily metabolize fructose to increase proliferation." Here a brief overview of the study. It's definitely worth the 5 minutes to read it!
