Why eat BANANAS?
Commonly known for their potassium content, bananas also contain fiber and Vitamin C. Additionally, they areĀ fat free, cholesterol free, and sodium free. They help reduce the risk of high blood pressure, help defend and heal against infection, assist in the synthesis of connective tissue, absorption of iron, and the formation of blood.

I like bananas at room temperature or even right out of the refrigerator for a cold treat. Other ways to include them in your diet are to eat them with peanut butter, sliced in cereal, yogurt or cottage cheese, or blended in a smoothie.
