What Is Boot Camp?
A one hour group class for all fitness levels. Don’t let the name intimidate you. Exercises are modified or progressed, depending on the individual.
Boot Campers are at all different fitness levels and ages. Boot Camp will help you with

What Should I Expect?
A warm up, a cool down, and in between – you will be led through a combination of cardio intervals, plyometrics, body weight exercises, partner resistance, group challenges, strength training, and balance and mobility movements.
What Do I Need To Know Ahead Of Time?
Wear appropriate and comfortable clothes and shoes. Cross-trainers are suggested for this class. Bring water, a towel if you need one, and a yoga mat. If you do not have a mat, you can buy one from me and have it waiting for you. Contact me now to arrange this.
When Are Classes Held?
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. at Anderson Park District Beech Acres. You can choose to attend 1 or 2 nights a week. For maximum benefit, it is recommended that you commit to 2x/week.
I have to tell you that I put on a pair of jeans last week that I haven't worn in five years which was an awesome surprise. I immediately signed up (for the next session)....Thanks for giving me the variety that I was looking for.

This is just a little note to say thanks for helping me get started on my journey to get to where I am today. I've been thinking about all the hard work I put in (especially today on my birthday 6.65 mile run - WOW! Such a feat for me!) and realized you got me hooked on this stuff! It feels so good to exercise now and to beat all my goals. I weigh less now than when I did in high school - by 20 lbs.! I can run long distances, I can do so much more. Before starting Boot Camp, I felt "stuck" in my routine, tired and sluggish. I needed a boost/change. Since taking Boot Camp, I feel strong! Sharon kept the exercises varied and different. She modified the work-outs for those of us who needed a bit more and I woke up everyday after the bootcamp feeling the wondeful pain of sore muscles! You do a great job of explaining the exercises and pushing me to go further than I think I can. The exercises are not monotonous and predictable. I have seen great improvements in my strength and flexibility. I couldn't do a wall sit for 20 seconds when I started, now I can do it for a minute....I have more energy, and am more confident. Your Nutrition class helped me to understand easy ways to eat healthy.

Boot Camp classes were a great motivator- the last thing I felt like doing after work was working out, the classes were great at getting me to do so, when otherwise, I probably wouldn't have. Plus, you made them fun!
